LIC Credit Card

LIC has now started providing credit cards with Axis Bank’s partnership. LIC uses its comprehensive network of over one million offices and over 2,000 offices across the nation to provide its clients with insurance and credit card services. LIC Credit Card Services has been set up in compliance with the regulations of the Reserve Bank of India to provide credit card facilities to its customers. LIC provides the four types of credit card

  1. LIC Gold Credit Card
  2. LIC Platinum Credit Card
  3. LIC Titanium Credit Card
  4. LIC Signature Credit Card

LIC Gold Credit Card:-

  • Applying for this credit card net annual income should be 1.8 lakh or above
  • No annual fee
  • In case of card lost or stolen there is a no charge for card replacement
  • No charges for duplicate statement
  • Foreign Currency Transaction charge will be 3.50% of the transaction amount
  • No charges for retrieval of the charge slip or Copy request in case of any fraudulent or suspicious transaction
  • Over Limit Penalty as 3% of the net over-limit amount or a minimum of Rs. 500 whichever is lower
  • Zero loss of card liability for fraudulent transactions up to the insured amount
  • Rs. 300 is charged in case of cheque return or cheque dishonour or ECS return due to insufficient funds

LIC Platinum Credit Card:-

  • Applying for this credit card net annual income should be 5 lakh or above.
  • No annual fee
  • No annual fee for Add-on Card
  • Nil Add-on Cards Joining Fee
  • Over Limit Penalty is 3% of the net over-limit amount or a minimum of Rs. 500, whichever is lower
  • Foreign Currency Transaction charge will be 3.50% of the transaction amount
  • No charges for retrieval of the charge slip or Copy request in case of any fraudulent or suspicious transaction
  • A fee of Rs. 300 is charged in case of cheque return or cheque dishonour or ECS return due to insufficient funds in LIC credit card
  • Transactions between Rs. 400 and Rs. 4000 spent on fuel purchase Waiver. The maximum benefit a customer may avail is up to Rs. 400 in a month.

LIC Titanium Credit Card:-

  • Applying for this credit card net annual income should be 3 lakh or above
  • No annual fee
  • No annual fee for Add-on Card
  • Nil Add-on Cards Joining Fee
  • Cash Withdrawal Fees is 2.5% of the amount withdrawn wherein the minimum charges of Rs. 250 is applicable
  • No Card Replacement charges in case of lost card or stolen or re-issued card for other reasons
  • Over Limit Penalty as 3% of the net over-limit amount or a minimum of Rs. 500, whichever is lower
  • Foreign Currency Transaction charge will be 3.50% of the transaction amount
  • Zero lost card liability against fraudulent purchase transactions up to the Insured amount

LIC Signature Credit Card:-

  • Applying for this credit card net annual income should be 15 lakh or above
  • Nil Annual fees
  • Nil Add-on Cards Joining Fee
  • No annual fee for Add-on Card
  • Cash Withdrawal Fees is 2.5% of the amount withdrawn wherein the minimum charges of Rs. 250 is applicable
  • No charges for retrieval of the charge slip or Copy request in case of any fraudulent or suspicious transaction
  • Zero lost card liability against fraudulent purchase transactions up to the Insured amount
  • Over Limit Penalty as 3% of the net over-limit amount or a minimum of Rs. 500, whichever is lower
  • No Duplicate Statement charges

Benefits of LIC credit card:-

  • The joining fee, annual fee and renewal fee are nil for the LIC credit card
  • Photo and signature of the cardholder are printed on it
  • You can withdrawal the 10% of your limit
  • LIC gold credit card provides accidental insurance
  • Every time you spend 150 rupees you will get 1 reward point.
  • It has a temporary limit enhancement feature by which you can enhance your limit in case of an emergency or if you need money, for a specific period of time.
  • An interest-free period is between 20 to 50 days

  • LIC credit card users can easily transfer their outstanding balance from another bank credit card to LIC credit card
  • They can easily cash withdrawal at any ATM across India
  • LIC credit card provides the plus point program in which they can earn rewards
  • Any purchase that is above 2500 can be converted int0 low-interest EMI
  • Cardholders can take up to 3 add on card

Eligibility criteria for LIC credit card:-

  • Applicant must have above 18 years old
  • Applying for this credit card applicant must be LIC agent, LIC employee or LIC policyholder
  • Applicant should be a resident Indian citizen
  • The applicant should have Rs. 15,000 salary slip for the gold credit card, Rs. 42,000 salary slip for the platinum credit card, Rs. 25,000 salary slip for titanium credit card and Rs. 1.25 lakh salary slip for the signature credit card.

Document required for LIC credit card:-

  • Proof of the LIC policy or a LIC policy agent.
  • Last 3-month salary slip
  • Two passport size photographs
  • Govt Id proof- Aadhar card/ Voter card/ Driving licence etc
  • PAN card

  • Go to the LIC office
  • Ask for the application form of the credit card which you want to get
  • Fill the application form
  • Submit the form with the documents
  • You will receive a receipt after the successful process
